Percussion pistol kit, new, manufactured by Connecticut Valley Arms about 40 years ago. It shoots black powder, ignited by a percussion cap (not flint & steel) for reliable shooting. I think this is legal to purchase in New York without a license, but not to carry loaded - it’s powerful. I never completed it although I stained the stock. No machine work is required to complete it, just some hand tools. Bore is .451”, and 100 lead balls are included, along with patches and cleaning rod).
