Mopar LA Rod vs. Stroke Chart

To use this Chart

1. From Table I: confirm original displacement. Block deck height should be 9.60".
2. From Table II: select crank-shaft type in Column 1.
3. Confirm stroke length in Column 2.
4. Connecting rod to stroke ratio appears in Column 3.
5. Column 4 gives nominal piston compression distance for ".000" (zero) deck height in the intersecting box.
6. Actual piston compression distance must be adjusted (+ or -) to allow for gasket thickness, quench distance, compression ratio, chamber volume, etc.
